Restoring Your Dental Implant
After the healing abutment is placed, your gums must heal for two or three weeks before restoration by your general dentist. Once your gums have healed, your dentist will make additional impressions of your mouth and remaining teeth. These impressions are used to make the final crown. You and your dentist can chose the appropriate restoration for your individual case.
